"It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Jim Blais as Dealer Operator / Partner of Colonial Harley-Davidson.

When the opportunity arose to appoint a manager to take over the day-to-day reins of Colonial Harley-Davidson and become a partner in the business; the first and only person I considered talking to was Jim Blais. Through our involvement in Performance Group 10, Jim and I have known each other for over 5 years.

The first thing you should know about Jim is that he is an experienced, highly successful Harley-Davidson Dealer Manager. Jim comes to us from Heritage Harley-Davidson in Lisle (Chicago), IL where he was the General Manager for seven years. Jim worked for Harley-Davidson Financial Services from 1998 to 2005. His positions included Director of New Business Development, VP - New Business Development, VP- Quality/Continuous Improvement. Prior to that, Jim worked for Transamerica Commercial Finance Corporation. In short, Jim is fully experienced in all areas of dealership operations with a highly successful track record to back it up. His business acumen and integrity are second to none.

On a personal level, Jim and his wife Rachel have been married for 24 years and have three children; Zac (23) and twin daughters Hannah and Danielle (17). His family will relocate to the Richmond area next spring/summer following Hannah and Danielle’s graduation from high school. "
