After several years of planning, Harley gave Bertram and Michael the 'green light' to design and build the most modern and customer-friendly Harley-Davidson dealership in Virginia. In partnership with DesignWorks Studio located in southern California and Freeman-Morgan Architects in Richmond, a 31,000 square foot facility was designed using a modern industrial theme complete with 25 foot ceilings, marble-like floors, extensive use of lighting, and artwork from the Harley-Davidson archives mounted high on the walls.

Of course, only the most modern equipment was used throughout the facility including the 10 double-lift service bays, a complete machine shop and a dedicated room for the state-of-the-art dynamometer.

In addition, a 1,000 square foot Customer Lounge furnished with retro-designed high top tables and chairs (with free coffee) is available for our customers waiting for their "scoots" to be serviced or just relaxing at the mid-point of a pleasure ride in beautiful central Virginia.

Since our initial opening in August 2002, we have completed a number of facility expansions and enhancements in order to ensure that we have everything to meet our customer's needs:

• Parts & Accessories expansion to add full second floor for additional P&A Inventory.
• Bike Storage was expanded by adding 12,00 square feet of storage space.
• A State Approved Rider Training Road Course was constructed in early 2006 including a dedicated classroom for off-course instruction. Colonial Harley-Davidson/Buell has 4 State Licensed Training Instructors. Up to 10 students can be taught per class session.
• A 32' X 16' Performance Stage was built in late 2005 to the many musical groups that play during our year long event schedule.
• Seven new Painted Murals were commissioned in early 2006 to add to the "riding ambiance" in our Showroom and Service Department.
